Best Of Amarillo Party

The Amarillo Globe-News will present its eighth annual Best of Amarillo Party next week.
The event honors Amarillo individuals and businesses who were recognized by readers as their favorites for the year.
The bash is set from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Amarillo Civic Center Heritage Room, 401 S. Buchanan St.
Amarillo singer Lacey Brown, a finalist on the 2010 season of "American Idol," will be the featured entertainment. The Buster Bledsoe Band and Insufficient Funds also are scheduled to perform.
Attendees can sample food from more than 20 restaurants.
Admission to the party is $15 in advance or $17.50 at the door.
