Up in the Air for Family Care" a hot air balloon festival starts today!
The rally will feature all sorts of shaped balloons and a handful of regular shapes from across the country. The world famous Lady Bug, Clown N Around, and Cheshire the Cat, will all be appearing at this weekend's event.
The balloon rally will help The Family Care Foundation. The foundation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Panhandle families with qualifying medical expenses.
Oct 15- 7:30 pm-Balloon Glow at Don Harrington Discovery Center. Come watch us light up the night! DHDC will also be open this night.
Oct 16- 7:45 am-Balloon Mass Ascension from High Plains Children's Home
Oct 17- 7:45 am-Balloon Mass Ascension from Palo Duro Canyon **all balloon events are weather permitting.
